Originally from Westchester, NY, and graduated from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Ryan Klarberg is an avid Michigan sports fan and while at Michigan, he was a part-time writer for Car & Driver Magazine. During his time there, Ryan had the opportunity to write about his passion for all things cars. He then went on to earn his B.A. degree with a business marketing and communications concentration and then went on to pursue his legal career at the University of Miami School of Law. While at Miami, Ryan Klarberg earned the CALI Legal Excellence for the Future Award. He concentrated on Intellectual Property and Sports & Entertainment law, graduating cum laude in his class. Ryan also made time for his community service interests with the Boys & Girls Club of Miami-Dade, hosting sponsored events with all proceeds benefitting the organization’s goals.
Ryan Klarberg became invested in the idea of protecting your rights when it comes to arts, fashion, sports, and entertainment. The concept of intellectual property security sparked Ryan’s interest from an early age. Throughout his college experience, Ryan read up on many cases and situations where intellectual property was the main point of focus. Ryan decided it was time to return to the Northeast to pursue his practice in Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law.
Ryan Klarberg previously held a variety of positions in the music and wealth management industries. During this time in his life, Ryan realized his passion and gained a deep appreciation for the process of protecting one’s brand. Ryan uses his knowledge of what high-profile individuals and large companies face to serve as an advisory to these clients in the most fitting and practical manner. The issues he regularly counsels his clients on range from brand optimization and domestic and foreign enforcement, to Intellectual Property monetization.
